Xero Compatible Shopping Cart

Website builder is a free online tool for building your own website, it includes a free shopping cart that integrates to Xero online accounting. The integration with Xero is provided for free. Xero is a 3rd party product for managing your accounts, tax and GST returns. Monthly fees apply for hosting your websites with website builder, and for Xero subscription paid to Xero (or your book keeper or accountant)

When using Xero, our shopping cart will:

• post invoices directly to your Xero drafts folder
• populate your contacts list
• code all purchases to a custom account code 
• code all international purchases to a custom account code
• code all freight to a custom account code
• code all credit card service fees to a custom account code (with zero tax)
• calculate an adjustment for GST variation between line item and total order value.

We encourage the use of Xero so that you can:

• Manage your accounting needs in the cloud, do your GST returns and share your accounts with your accountant and book keeper. 
• Receive draft invoices directly from the shopping cart.
  
• Reconcile your paypal accounts and payments for multi currency orders

How to Integrate Xero and Web Widgets Free Website Builder

1. Login to website builder, or create a new trial webspace/shop.
2. Once logged in, hover over shopping tab in the top menu and a drop down will appear.
3. In the drop down under the setup column select "Accounting API"
4. Then select "Xero Accounting System Integration Setup"
5. Customise any special account codes, then click Enable Xero.
6. You will then need to link and authorise you Xero Account Click the "Authorise Xero Account" link
7. You’ll need to obtain your authorization code from Xero. Click on the respective Link
8. In the popup window, Login to Xero
9. If you have more than 1 company, select the Company to connect.
10. Copy the verfiy code
11. Close the popup window, and paste the verification code into the box provided. Then click Authorise.
12. Integration is complete, all your invoices will now be found in the draft invoices folder.
